The week of Monique and Melvin’s engagement session, I checked the weather forecast constantly. We had already resceduled once before and were truly hoping for the storms to skip over Dallas. Well the weather god was on our side, we got a few small peeks of sunshine, and I got to capture love & laughter.

Monique & Melvin’s courtship is one of adventure, travel, and exploration of many modes of fun especially sporting events. For their upcoming dating anniversary, Melvin planned a celebratory date at a Dallas Mavericks vs Cleveland Cavaliers game. Dirk vs Lebron…Go Mavs!! The biggest surprise of the night however was the words “Monique, Will you marry me?” appearing on the jumbotron. Big score for Melvin!!! For their engagement session, the lovebirds only had two requests: include the amazing Dallas skyline and the American Airlines Center in Victory Park. I had a blast celebrating my beautiful friend and her hubs to be. Love and endless laughter is definitely evident as Monique giggled from ear to ear nonstop. I am so honored that they have entrusted me to capture their union. Till August loves….
